WATER SAFETY TRAINING

We have given over 4000 hours of free training and have continued our partnership with HHSC to offer these to the public. This year we began asking for a $10 dollar donation for each registrant taking the course. This was due to space limitation and to hold individuals registered accountable. We are volunteers and the donation goes toward administration cost and our Summer Life Jacket fund.

On-Site Training with Live Like Cati Live Like Cati enhances water safety awareness with hands-on training, offering tailored schedules to meet your organizations needs. Water Safety Training Session: Our two-hour session covers essential practices for those accompanying children to pools. Participants earn 1.5 credit hours and must score at least 70% on the quiz to complete the training. This is mandatory for anyone with a child at a pool and is separate from HHSC requirements. Fee Structure: In order to offset costs our Fees include preparation and on-site time, with travel and lodging reimbursed separately. Training Materials: Participants receive a master copy of all handouts to reinforce skills and knowledge. Supporting the Life Jacket Program Training proceeds support our Life Jacket Program, providing free life jackets to Texas childcare organizations.
